NOTD: OPI Hot & Spicy

I am obsessed with nail polish... maybe obsessed isn't the appropriate word to describe my love for it. I am probably at the beauty supply store at least 1-2 times a week on the hunt for colors on my growing wish list.

After seeing a post on this beauty blog, I drove down to my local beauty supply store after work and picked up a bottle. Orange is my least favorite color, but this one isn't so bad....does that make any sense? It's not too in your face and is a fun color for summer. I used two coats- it was a little streaky with one, but after the second it was more opaque.

I have a feeling I will be using this polish a lot this summer! What do you guys think?

Another trip to Nevada

Some of you may know that Nick is a cartographer and field archaeologist for an environmental consulting firm. He left yesterday for another 3 weeks to work on a huge two-year project that his company is undertaking with the state of Nevada. He sent me this picture before leaving his hotel to go to the field office:

Looks like he won't be needing his shorts and flip flops...
