Jessica & I visited the
Uffizi Gallery on her second day here. We wish we were allowed to take pictures! We saw lots of paintings that we learned about in our humanities classes at SDSU, and paintings I learned about in Honors Humanities & AP Art History in high school. My art history class here visited the Uffizi Gallery before our midterm last week, which was pretty awesome. We got to go up to the paintings that we were learning about that are here in Florence with our professor. They had an exhibition called "Caravaggio e i Caravaggeschi" which was awesome!!

After spending a few hours at the Uffizi, we went back to my apartment to make some lunch. We both were missing Chipotle and mexican food, so we tried to make a mexican style meal. The hottest hot sauce here is not very hot... haha.
After lunch and relaxing for a bit, we went to the bar we went to the night before for apertivo and to watch the final World Cup game.
